Barbara Leaks is our February Star Player of the Month!
Recently, the Pacific Asia Museum (PAM) experienced a backlog of invoices, primarily due to two factors (1) change in cost centers for standing POs, which Central A/P could not fix for weeks; and (2) one of PAM’s employees was on a leave of absence. Through our own analysis, we determined that expenses are lower than forecasted, and invoices are not coming in as expected. We worked with Pam to understand the root causes of the issue. Once these root causes were understood, Barbara Leaks worked to bring their accounts payable into a current position. In addition, she worked diligently with our central A/P and Purchasing departments to correct cost centers to have the invoices paid. There were about 50-60 invoices in total that needed to be processed. Once Barbara stepped in, the backlog of invoices was cleared accurately, and the cost centers were corrected. PAM was very appreciative of Barbara’s efforts and sent a gift of chocolates to honor Barbara’s work and commitment to their business operations.
