Michelle Hu is our November Star Player of the Month!
Michelle Hu has been instrumental in our return to campus with regards to communicating and managing the expectations of our Off-Campus College-Work Study Agencies. We currently have about 27 active contracts with Off-Campus Agencies to employ College Work-Study students. Michelle is responsible for ensuring the agencies are set-up and trained to approve timesheets in Workday, as well as onboarding and educating the students in logging in their worked hours on a timely basis. Michelle has been diligent in communicating with the agencies the changes to USC policies as they materialize, for example the COVID-19 technology Stipend. This is very important in that it assists Enrollment Services in maintaining our relationship with the agencies. The university must utilize a percentage of the Federal Work-Study Award towards community service and several of the agencies contributes to that requirement.
